Anime Fiesta is a celebration of Japanese animation and pop culture where fans can meet guests from their favorite anime shows, attend Q&A panels, compete in cosplay contests, host and attend fan panels, play in our gaming tournaments, shop our vendors and so much more.

Your ticket grants you admission to the event, and gives you access to all Main Stage events like celebrity Q&A panels and cosplay contests, Chibi Stage panels and events, our expansive vendor market and artist alley featuring vendors and artists from all over the United States, our Mini Matsuri with festival games and activities for the whole family, our Game Room with console games, tournaments and arcades, and after parties featuring musical performances. Special guest autographs & photos are not included with your admission ticket and can be purchased separately at the celebrity guests's booth.

Anime Fiesta has a no-refund policy. If you cannot attend the event you are welcome to make other arrangements like selling your ticket or giving it away. Please note that our special guest lineup is subject to change. Tickets will not be refunded due to guest cancellation. If you're interested in attending the event only for one or a few specific guests, we recommend purchasing tickets at the door to ensure the best experience.

Yes, up to 2 children ages 12 and under can enter the event early with you and join you in the autograph line or VIP seating area for panels. Children ages 6 – 12 will need a child's ticket to enter the event. Children 5 years old and younger do not need a ticket. Any attendees over the age of 12 will need to have their own VIP Pass in order to qualify for VIP Perks.

Yes! Select outlets will begin selling tickets late August 2025. Check back soon for a list of participating outlets.

Anime Fiesta is happy to offer group discounts for for public and private schools (Elementary – High School). Please contact us for more information.

Please do not remove your wristband if you plan on returning to the event later in the day or the following day. You will not be permitted to re-enter without your wristband.

Accessibility

Attendees with mobility or physical disabilities are encouraged to use our accessible drop off and pick up point.
The Main Stage and Chibi Stage will have designated accessible seating toward the front of the room.
A limited number of wheelchairs are available for loan on a first come, first served basis. Please inquire at the Accessibility Resources/First Aid Tent.

Attendees with mobility disabilities are encouraged to utilize our Accessible Entrance.

ASL Interpreters will be on site.
They will be interpreting all Main Stage panels and are also available for brief individual assistance upon request.
Please note that interpreters are not assigned for one-on-one accompaniment, as they are here to help make the event accessible to as many attendees as possible.

Requirements of Service Animals and Their Handlers:
The service animal should wear a harness, ID tag or other gear that readily identifies its working status.
The service animal must be on a leash at all times.
The handler must be in full control of the service animal at all times. The care and supervision of a service animal is solely the responsibility of its handler.

All guests that have been officially announced by Anime Fiesta have committed to attend the event, however, all guests have the right to cancel their appearance if certain circumstances require it, such as work or health related reasons. If a guest cancels their appearance it will immediately be announced on our website and social media pages. Please be aware that tickets will not be refunded due to guest cancellation. If you're interested in attending the event only for one or a few specific guests, we recommend purchasing tickets at the door to ensure the best experience.

You do not need a special pass to meet a special guest. General admission tickets grant your admission to the event, and access to our Autograph Area where you can purchase autographs and selfies with the special guests. VIP ticket holders will be granted priority in lines for autographs and panels.

Autographs and selfies can be purchased on site only. If you would like to purchase an autograph or selfie from a special guest you can find their booth in the Autograph Area. There you will wait in line to purchase your autograph or selfie. Event staff will be there to guide you and answer any questions you might have.

Please be aware that you may be asked not to photograph celebrities from a distance, as it is generally not allowed. You may take photos (but not record) during the Q&A Panels. To keep aisles and walkways clear in the Autograph Area you may be asked not to crowd around special guest booths.

POLICY
Anime Fiesta strictly prohibits harassment of and/or discrimination against anyone in attendance at the event. Incidents will be met with appropriate action. Harassment includes offensive verbal comments (related to gender, disability, physical appearance, race, religion, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation), sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Please report any incidents of harassment as soon as possible to the nearest police officer, Anime Fiesta staff member or McAllen Convention Center security guard. All event and venue staff will be in clearly marked shirts or uniforms. Staff can always be found in the information booth near the entrance of the exhibit hall.

Bags are permitted; however, they are subject to inspection upon entry. This policy is in place to maintain the safety and security of all attendees and guests.

Attendees are permitted to bring cameras to the event.
Please ask permission before photographing attendees, vendors or anyone else in attendance at the event.
Do not obstruct walkways, entrances or exits when photographing/recording.
Interviewing/recording celebrity guests is not permitted. Purchase of video recordings/shoutouts is offered by some celebrity guests in attendance, however if you ask to interview a celebrity guest in the autograph booth you will be asked to leave the booth.
Photographing/recording celebrity guests at a distance while they are in their autograph booth is not permitted.
Large lighting setups/equipments are not permitted on the convention floor without prior written approval.
Pictures and video taken by Anime Fiesta official photographers and videographers during the event are the property of South Texas Conventions LLC and may be used by South Texas Conventions LLC for advertising and promotion of future events.
