Celebrity meet & greets at Anime Fiesta let you hang out with voice actors, cosplay icons, artists, and special guests face to face. Whether you’re a total anime veteran or heading to your very first con, a meet & greet is the kind of thing you’ll be talking about long after the weekend’s over. Here’s everything you need to know to make yours awesome.

What Is a Celebrity Meet & Greet?

A meet & greet is basically dedicated time for fans to get one-on-one with a guest. At Anime Fiesta, that could mean anime voice actors, popular cosplayers, illustrators, YouTubers, and other creators from the industry. Forget the packed panels. This is way more chill and personal, so you can actually chat, ask questions, grab a selfie, or snag an autograph. It’s your shot to tell the person who helped bring a character, show, or performance to life just how much it meant to you.

What to Expect at Your First Anime Meet & Greet

Feeling a little nervous for your first one? Totally normal, and the vibe at Anime Fiesta is super friendly and fun. You’ll usually line up for the guest you picked, then get your own little moment of face time when you’re up. Depending on the session, that might mean a photo, an autograph, or a quick chat. And here’s the thing: guests genuinely love meeting the fans who root for them, so don’t be shy. Even a simple “thank you” or a quick story about why their work means so much to you can totally make their day.
